Founded in Tucson, Arizona in 1983, our story began in a family garage under the original name Earthtones, a small family dream fueled by creativity and hard work. For more than 40 years, we've glazed our tiles in the intricately detailed artform of cuerda seca or dry line style ceramic glazing.
As Hand-N-Hand Designs, we built a nationwide reputation for colorful, high-quality tiles and gifts. In 2025, Hand-N-Hand Designs was acquired by Carly Quinn Designs, and once again became Earthtones Tile.
Nestled in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, we draw daily inspiration from terra cotta landscapes, endless skies, and the vibrant culture around us. Every tile we make carries a bit of that desert magic, bringing beauty, joy, and individuality into homes across the country.
Each tile starts as blank bisque, and is soon transformed by the artist's hand and a trip through the kiln into a colorful and lasting piece of art.
